Meetings are held at the Helen Schuler Nature Centre in the Oldman River Valley from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month – September, October, November, February, March, and April only.

After a short business meeting, there is a social time with coffee, treats, and a slide presentation. Presentations are geared toward outdoor enthusiasts. Past speakers have included park wardens, glaciologists, and archaeologists, as well as club members who have shared their experiences skiing, hiking, backpacking and cycling in Canada and around the world. Guests are welcome and club memberships may be purchased at the meetings. The best way to meet us is to attend one of our monthly club meetings.

Other Events

The club organizes events throughout the year. For example, In late July, a three-day campout and in early December, a Christmas potluck supper.
These events are well attended and provide an excellent opportunity to connect with all club members.

The campout offers club members an opportunity to hike in areas not easily reached
in a day trip from Lethbridge. Past campouts have been held in Kananaskis, Banff and Jasper National Parks, the East Kootenays and West Glacier, Montana.
